EL ESPEJO MÍO

In a world where appearance dictates opportunities, this work questions the exhausting, absurd efforts to achieve an image that never quite becomes real.

This visual diary reflects on the quiet friction between authentic identity and the imposed standards of modern physical perfection. Through intimate, satirical self-portraiture, I photograph myself surrounded by everyday consumption objects that promise to beautify and redesign the self. By exploring the crossroad between humor and critique, El Espejo Mío highlights the modern pressure to conform to rigid physical frameworks, ultimately asking what it means to live, breathe, and design one's own image under a constant digital gaze.
